Moto X Force can't detect / format any SD Carte

How-do-you-do ppl.

I accept my Moto Ten Force since january, about of the time happy with information technology.

Since I started using my devide I had one SIM card and ane 64GB Samsung EVO SD Card attached to information technology, everything working as it should. Or at to the lowest degree appeared to.

With 64GB of internal memory, I never really needed the SD Menu merely well, it was mounted and formatted past the device.

On a given day, for no reason I can explicate, the device started showing the SD as corrupt, with the message that it needed to be formatted. Merely when I tried to format it through the phone, no bargain, some other error.

I removed the SD Card, and waited to come back home because I was on a vacation trip. Well, back at domicile I tried at to the lowest degree 4 dissimilar SD Cards, two of them new ones - Sandisk and Samsung - and other SD Cards I use on other devices, similar cameras, video apparel and even the SD on my Z3 Meaty. No deal, the phone can't read whatever of the SDs and asks to format. But if you try to format through the device, error.

I'grand writing this here to register the problem and share the experience, since I couldn't find another thread with the aforementioned trouble and maybe to discover a solution with no need to bargain with Motorola representatives.

connect the sd to the computer
probably will testify fault
reformat it and insert back to mxf
happened to my with 128gb pny
inserted 64gb sandisk and all well
reformatted and its usable over again just i wont insert it as i
have no confidence in information technology
btw if you're on six.0 +
did u choose to format as memry or stand up alone sdcard ?

That unfortunately doesn't work. I tried several unlike SD Cards, formatting through the computer too.

And tried both options on my Droid Turbo.

The only matter i haven't tried still is to completely wipe the device...

Hello take you found a set for the sd menu trouble withal because i have the same issue moto 10 force cant even detect a card has been inserted yet my sandisk card works fine in 2 other phones and in laptop.

No, I'm lamentable but I can't assistance you lot.

I'm giving up this device. Since I had no bug at all with S6, Notation 5 and Z3c and had very similar issues with Moto Maxx and Moto Ten Strength, I'm selling this device after the warranty check and will skip Motorola for a time.

Motorola devices are amazing on theory correct at present, good battery life, good photographic camera, a lot of features, but in real life use they end being a pain.

I paid extra due to the screen, that I see like an insurance, but it doesn't worth information technology.

Im sorry to hear of your experience. I really like this phone and ive had a moto x before the erstwhile version and similar all the features agile display and best of all shatterproof. I am going to try a few different sd cards wen i get a gamble hopefully one volition work just evn iff information technology doesnt i think i volition exist ok with 32gb storage. I am non certain i have any warranty entitlement because i bought from ebay although information technology came fuly sealed i dont recollect motorola volition accept warranty iff bought from ebay.

Im deplorable to hear of your experience. I really similar this phone and ive had a moto x earlier the one-time version and like all the features active display and best of all shatterproof. I am going to try a few different sd cards wen i go a chance hopefully one will work but evn iff it doesnt i think i will be ok with 32gb storage. They will take to accept it, seeing as it can not have been manufactured more than one yr ago, it is definitely within the warranty period.

I will attempt to encounter if they do simply I take a feeling they will inquire for the original possessor to brand the request for repair that is iff in deed some matter is defective and it'due south not only a software problem.

I have a similar problem. My SD card worked perfectly in the phone for a few months. At present the phone will read the menu for a couple of minutes after a reboot, but then it mysteriously loses the connection to the card. Have tried the carte du jour in other phones and there is nothing wrong with it. Why is the 10 Force able to read the card, then not?
